So I started painting my kitchen and living room in August. I tore down the wall paper, washed the walls, filled the holes sanded, etc. And as of Sunday the 23rd of JANUARY I am done painting my living room and kitchen. I need to put up white crown molding to make it look nicer and cover the uneven tops of walls... I did tape but some of the areas... not so great.
Now the next step is picking out a wood color I like for the floor in the living room, and the shelves and cabinets in the kitchen.... and they have to go with the tile I picked out. lol
Currently my floors are navy blue carpet... I hate it.... that is particular taste... and it has to be vacuumed everyday!!! So I am putting down laminate flooring, and the replacing the carpets upstairs with cream/tan carpets.
Also by the end of this week I should have the gross fabric stuff that bond the wall paper to the wall gone!!! Thats the plan at least. That way one of these weekends coming up we can prime the bathroom and entry way and paint them. YAY... then after all the above is done I am replacing the closet doors, the framing around the doors... and possibly the doors themselves.... I know its alot and I'm poor haha but it will be worth more in the end!
